CHALLENGE: To create the in-store materials for the Dove Self-esteem program.
INSIGHT: Eight out of ten girls are so concerned with the way they look that they opt out of important activities from playing sports and swimming to visiting the doctor, going to school or just offering an opinion, anxiety about their looks can keep girls from living life to the full. Seven out of ten report putting their health at risk by not eating or not going to visit the doctor when they don’t feel good about the way they look.
CONCEPT: The Dove Self-esteem Project was founded in 2004 with the intention of helping girls grow up feeling happy and confident about the way they look. Since it's start, The Dove Self-esteem Project has grown to become not only a campaign, but a platform with resources, lesson plans, events, and partnerships. This work was one of the first in-store mentions of The Dove Self-esteem Project. Walmart and it's proprietary music platform, Soundcheck, created this campaign. We created palette displays, in-store signage, shelf-talkers, display banners, in-store commercials, as well as audio spots to be played over the retailer's on-air network.
RESULTS: For this campaign, Lbox received two silver Reggie awards for in-store presence and overall shop-ability.
